An independent, individual service provider
Dustin Studios is the brand I use for my work as a China-based individual designer and developer serving clients internationally, including clients in the United States. Services are provided by me personally, not by a roofing construction company or a United States business entity. The contracting individual and applicable billing details are identified in the written project agreement and invoice before payment.
The website offers custom website design and development services. Product studies in the archive are portfolio demonstrations, not subscriptions or products available to purchase on this website.
Scope, pricing and schedule
The scope of work, pricing, payment timing, delivery schedule and any included revisions are defined in the written proposal, invoice or agreement for the specific project. These terms do not create a fixed public price or a promise that every requested feature is included.
The project fee and currency are confirmed before work begins. The approximately $10 annual domain-renewal estimate shown on the service page excludes design and development fees and is not a guaranteed third-party price. Any required paid hosting, plugins or other third-party services are identified for approval in advance. Additional work or ongoing support requires a separate agreement unless expressly included.
Upwork and PayPal payments
Payment can be arranged through Upwork or a PayPal invoice, subject to service availability and confirmation for the project before payment. The agreed payment method, currency, amount and milestones are recorded in the project agreement or invoice. There is no payment checkout on this website.
Relationships originating on Upwork remain subject to Upwork’s contracting, communication and payment rules. Payments for those projects stay on Upwork. PayPal invoicing is offered for independently sourced projects where permitted; it is not offered to bypass Upwork’s rules.
Payments and any refunds are also subject to the applicable provider’s terms. Nothing on this website guarantees platform approval, buyer protection or seller protection for a particular transaction.
Client materials
The client is responsible for providing content, images, logos, copy, trademarks and other materials that they have the legal right to use. Dustin Studios may rely on the client’s confirmation of those rights when building or publishing a website.
Cancellation and refund requests
For a directly arranged project, send a cancellation or refund request to hi@dustinstudios.com with your project or invoice reference and the reason for the request. For an Upwork project, use the contract’s messaging and cancellation or refund process.
For directly arranged projects, a cancellation received before work starts is eligible for a refund of prepaid service fees, less any non-refundable third-party cost that the client approved in advance. After work starts, completed or accepted work and approved third-party costs are not refundable; any prepaid amount allocated to work that has not been delivered is eligible for review and refund under the agreed scope and milestones.
If I cannot complete the agreed work, prepaid amounts allocated to the undelivered scope will be refunded. Approved refunds are submitted to the original payment method within 10 business days, although the payment provider or bank may require additional processing time. Custom digital services are delivered electronically, so physical returns do not apply.
The project agreement may provide additional project-specific terms, but it will not remove rights available under applicable law or the payment provider’s rules. See the refund, cancellation and delivery policy for the full published policy.
Delivery and ownership
Final deliverables, access credentials and any source-code handover follow the written project terms. Where handover is included, Dustin Studios will provide the agreed materials and access after the applicable payment and delivery conditions are met.
This is a digitally delivered service; no physical goods are shipped. Agreed deliverables are shared through electronic files, repository or deployment access and written handover instructions. The project agreement defines the review process, revisions and acceptance arrangements. Domain registration or transfer is into an account controlled by the client; editable content controls are included only when agreed.
Delivery records may include dated emails, repository activity, deployment records, access invitations and written acceptance or revision requests.
No performance guarantee
Websites are designed and built with care, but Dustin Studios does not guarantee search-engine ranking, revenue, lead volume, conversion rate or any other business performance outcome. Results depend on factors outside the delivered website.
