Who is responsible
Dustin Studios is the name I use for my independent design and development work as a China-based individual service provider serving clients internationally. I’m Dustin. For enquiries about your information, contact hi@dustinstudios.com.
Information you choose to send
The email link opens your email application, the phone link starts a call to my Google Voice number, and the WhatsApp link opens a conversation in WhatsApp. There is no enquiry form or file-upload facility on this site. If you email me, I receive your email address, the name shown in your message and any project information or attachments you include. If you call +1 510 905 5888 and leave a voicemail, Google Voice may provide your phone number, message audio, transcription and call details.
I use that information only for enquiries, project communication and, where a project goes ahead, service delivery. Please only send information needed for the conversation and material you are entitled to share.
Browser session storage
This website uses browser session storage to remember whether the preloader has been shown, the target section for navigation, and the Projects return location and scroll position. These limited UI and navigation states help keep movement between pages continuous.
This state stays in your browser for the current tab’s session, including page reloads, and is cleared when that session ends. It is not sent to me or saved as a profile on a server. It is not used for advertising, audience analytics or behavioral profiling, and does not create a user account.
Hosting, email and technical information
Where a project proceeds, I may keep the agreed scope, correspondence, billing details and delivery records to provide the service and handle payment or refund enquiries. If payment is arranged through Upwork or PayPal, that provider processes payment information under its own terms and privacy notice. I may receive transaction references, payment status and billing details needed to administer the project. This website does not collect card numbers or payment credentials.
This public website is hosted through Cloudflare. Cloudflare’s hosting and network infrastructure may process technical information such as an IP address, browser information and request logs to deliver, secure and operate the site.
Calls and voicemails to the listed number are handled through Google Voice, and WhatsApp messages are handled through WhatsApp. Email is handled by the provider serving the listed address. These providers may process information in countries other than your own under their applicable terms and privacy notices. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy and WhatsApp’s privacy policy.
I have not added advertising pixels or audience-analytics tools to the portfolio application. This does not mean that the hosting provider processes no technical data. Provider-level records and storage are managed by the relevant provider.
Keeping information and handling requests
General enquiry messages are kept for as long as they are needed to handle the conversation and any relevant follow-up. If an enquiry becomes a paid project, transaction instructions, agreements, invoices, payment records, delivery evidence and refund records are retained for at least five years where required for payment compliance, dispute handling, tax or legal obligations. Other unneeded personal information will be deleted; provider backups may follow their own retention cycles.
You can email me to ask what information I hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. I may need to verify that a request is yours. Some records may need to be retained where applicable law requires it.
If future functionality changes the way information is handled, this notice will be updated. Any necessary notice or consent will be addressed before that new processing begins.
